Extending a huge thank you to Jeannette Cooperman of ST. LOUIS MAGAZINE for the outstanding profile she wrote on me and my personal training philosophy! I lover her wordsmithing! Cooperman writes, “All that poundage doesn’t interest me; I’d rather lift spirits than iron. What’s intriguing is watching an artist use his aesthetic sense to train form. And watching a man who radiates energy, health, and strength—but makes a point of saying he’s been sober for a long time—uses relentless honesty to change his clients’ bad habits.”
I’m thrilled to make the cover of OUTinSTL Magazine! Patrick Collins has written an informative and playful story for my cover feature in which he writes, “Hitchcock … is not merely in great shape for a guy who’s turning 50 this summer. He’s in great shape, period. With a full head of hair, sparkling eyes and an easy smile, Hitchcock brings the ideal body to life: broad shoulders, a narrow waist, killer abs and arms fortified with muscles (and adorned with lots of ink). As a certified professional trainer at Muscle Up Gym in Clayton, he helps a diverse group of clients work toward their physical ideals. His sweet spot, however, is squarely in daddy territory: fitness after 40.”
